I designed a new logo for Wild Walcot – a community partnership developing wildlife-friendly spaces along Walcot Street in Bath, UK.
Since 2017, several green spaces have been developed by volunteers, residents and local business owners. This includes the transformation of a neglected piece of land (situated by the Corn Market) into a beautiful community garden.
Over the years, more of Walcot Street has been transformed to create a green corridor all the way from the community garden to Vegmead at the other end of the street. If you’re local to the area I would very much encourage you to get involved!
My design for the Wild Walcot logo combines a leaf with an abstract green fingers/fingerprint motif. The line shape also matches that of Walcot Street and the nearby Paragon as seen on a map.
